Reversal of Curses
Dark Knight Requires Base Level 15 and Job Level 10 to start the quest.
The Dark Knight has the highest damage potential among all other job classes. The risk it requires taking to fulfill this, however, cannot be ignored by the player. Its rotations are based on correct management and attention to risks of the class.
Best: Massive damage potential, multiple resources for any situation, unique properties.
Worst: Very high risk, complex, requires precise gameplay to not underperform.
Weapons: Swords, Knight Swords (2-handed, very rare).
Gameplay Identity
The Dark Knight will always be risking its health in order to further boost its damage, making it:
A powerful warrior that will fight under a specific set of rules in order to extract the most out of its own risk as pure damage.
Due to its constant lack of HP, a good Dark Knight is required to be well aware of the damage potential of its targets. It should not be mistaken for a tank, but instead, acts as a pure DPS machine.
A higher level Dark Knight has access to Black Heart, which allows it to guarantee leeching damage dealt in order to continue on the offensive regardless of the situation.
Core Gameplay
The use of Vengeance as a key opener is essential to deal constant damage. Some situations may not even require using any of the follow-up skills possible.
The great crowd control of Chilling Frost, which deals physical damage, makes it a reliable tool to control the situation of the fight due to its quick use and massive freeze chance.
The key feature of an offensive Dark Knight is Harvest, a stance that blocks most healing to a dark knight, but allows its missing HP bonus damage to reach the highest potential, by turning the fight into a kill or be killed situation. Harvest is a strong stance that requires running risks greater than any other job in the game, with incredible pay-off.
The Dark Knight has multiple tools to freeze, manage, and move around the fight while dealing heavy damage, correct analysis of the risk is essential to ensure the correct skill can deal massive damage, unlike any other job class.
Skills
All Dark Knight Skills deal bonus damage according to missing HP. Damage bonus is boosted if the Dark Knight is under Harvest Mode.
