Rarity System & Rerolling
We are introducing two brand new systems made from scratch that allow any piece of equipment, including shadow gear, runes, and manuals, to have a rarity.
Every equipment that drops from monsters will roll a chance to have a rarity.
Each rarity will give a bonus to the value of the equipment options.
Rarity Levels
Equipment items can drop with different rarity grades, each with their own drop rates:
Important Notes
- These rarity grades only apply to equipment items
- Ammunition and costume items are excluded from the rarity system
- The interaction with rarity is based on the max possible random bonus of the item
- Higher grades allow for exceeding normal random bonus limitations
For instance, if you have a Haunted Knife, the All Magical DMG bonus could exceed the usual 10% max value.
Reroll System
On top of the rarity system, which increases the RNG elements of an item, we introduce the reroll system to improve the quality of life.
We will have ten types of Orbs, each granting a form of item modification (and inventory).
Every monster has a chance to drop an orb, but some orbs drop only from MVPs or can be obtained from the World Boss Shop.
The drop chance increases depending on the mob tier: 30, 75, 100, 130
Types of Orbs
Normal Monster Orbs
Drop rates scale with monster level:
- Level 1-29: 0.5%
- Level 30-74: 1.2%
- Level 75-99: 2%
- Level 100-129: 3.5%
- Level 130+: 5%
Orb of Growth – Alters a random option of an equipment.
-
Orb of Change – Alters all random options of an equipment.
-
Orb of Hope – Alters all option values of an equipment.
MVP Orbs
Base drop rates are 10x higher than normal monsters:
- Level 1-29: 5%
- Level 30-74: 12%
- Level 75-99: 20%
- Level 100-129: 35%
- Level 130+: 50%
Orb of Growth – Adds an extra option to an item (if below 5 options).
Orb of Divinity – Alters the rarity and all random options of an equipment.
Harder MVP Orbs
Available only from level 100+ MVPs:
- Level 100-129: 3% chance
- Level 130+: 10% chance
Orb of Abyss – Chance to upgrade equipment rarity (no downgrade)
Orb of Offering – Select an option to reroll (cost depends on chosen slot)
Extra Hard MVP Orbs
Available only from level 100+ MVPs:
- Level 100+: 0.3% chance
Orb of Abundance – Unlocks +10 extra inventory slots (max 5 times).
Note: World Boss orbs (Orb of Crimson and Orb of Darkness) are not found in this drop system and might be obtained through different mechanics.
