Gameplay Identity
The Raider is the opposite of the Trickster. It's a safe job class that can progress at a steady pace and handle most situations, making this job:
A well rounded warrior with good damage variety, high frontline potential and a simple kit that can cover every situation it faces.
A smart Raider knows what path to take to correctly engage enemies. In risky situations they may favor the use of a 1-Handed Spear with a Shield to keep the enemies at bay. When more comfortable they can swap into the powerful 2-Handed Wyrm Spear to increase their damage potential and Dragon Thrust Level.
Dragon Thrust is a Powerful Opener for the Dracomancer. The level of this skill that is enabled depends on the currently equipped spear. The skill is the center-piece of any Raider or Dracomancer.
The entire kit of a Raider is built around skills that should be used situationally, either by pushing enemies back, increasing defenses or attacking with more offensive power.
Raiders have quick job level growth, hitting the max Job level of 50 well before most other non-thief jobs. However, only the best will be able to continue their training until they peak and become a Dracomancer.
