The Rune System is a unique system for Return to Morroc.
Runes have powerful bonuses. These bonuses can be improved by refining the runes. A rune is harder to refine than a common equipment.
The runes also change the color of your character when equipped. So it's also a strategic element, as for example, Wearing a fire damage boosting rune, will change one's color to red.
Runes can be obtained in a variety of ways.
Rune Types
Neutral Rune: Simple runes that can't be refined, can be used at any level and provide minor bonuses, perfect for beginners.
White Rune: Runes with unique variations that change the way you can engage content.
Dark Rune: Job Runes. They improve specific skills and stats of the job they belong to. Only one per job is available.
Purple Rune: Power Runes. Improve overall mechanical performance of the wearer.
Orange Rune: Growth Runes. Helps the wearer grow and evolve faster in a variety of ways.
Green Rune: Guard Runes. improves general defensive powers of the wearer.
Blue Rune: Elemental Runes. Boost power and resistances to certain elements.
